Swollen Lymph Nodes

by BB Curtis

The lymphatic system supports your immune system by filtering out toxins, pathogens, and infected cells and destroying what can be harmful to the body.  That’s a really quick and easy description.  Lymph nodes can become swollen due to fungal, viral, or bacterial overload; some medications; some types of cancer; or injury.  For more detailed information, see https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/21199-lymphatic-system

When nodes in the armpit, neck, or behind the ears are swollen due to fungal, viral, or bacterial overload, there is something I’ve used with success:

Place the oils listed in a clean and sanitized dark blue or amber 10 ml. roller-ball applicator (to avoid the possibility of low-grade oils that might be diluted or contain toxins always use CPTG*, Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade, not just Therapeutic Grade or lower quality oils):

  • 4 drops frankincense essential oil
  • 4 drops peppermint essential oil
  • 4 drops tea tree essential oil
  • 4 drops lemon essential oil
  • 2 drops oregano essential oil
  • 2 drops grapefruit essential oil
  • And top off with coconut oil or a good quality carrier oil of your choice

Label the bottle with its specific use and date it. Shake the bottle for a couple of minutes and again before each use.  Apply one coat evenly over the affected area three times a day for two weeks.  Allow the oil to naturally absorb into the skin.
