With all the stress and strain we’ve dealt and with all the negativity flaring from nearly every nook and cranny and right down the major thoroughfares, everybody needs some love and some peace. Here’s an oil blend that you can make and use in a diffuser; in a bath; and, mixed with a carrier oil, rubbed on your temples, massaged into the neck, or applied to the bottoms of the feet.
In a sterilized, 5 ml., amber or blue bottle with a dropper top or eyedropper:
- 18 drops frankincense essential oil
- 10 drops lavender essential oil
- 10 drops sandalwood essential oil
- 5 drops cedarwood essential oil
- 5 drops ylang ylang essential oil
shake gently to mix and label the bottle.
To diffuse: add 5 – 7 drops to filtered water in a diffuser
For a bath: add 5 – 7 drops to extra warm bath water (heat based on personal preference)
For massage into skin: add 5 – 7 drops to ½ cup carrier oil (coconut oil recommended)
