I think we have a huge problem.  We have many immoral and illegal acts taking place and the perpetrators think they are not at fault and should be treated as though they are honorable.  We have adult men acting like pubescent boys as though what they are doing is wonderful, necessary, and useful.  In fact, they blast all over the place what they are doing no matter how desperately inappropriate their actions are.  They are all proud of themselves and gloating about what they’ve done.  Then, they act surprised when they are called out for their actions and/or are arrested and pulled into court.  I am, of course, mostly referencing those who attacked the US Capital on January 6, 2021, which I consider to be one of the most heinous acts the USA has ever seen in such close proximity to our highest level of legislators. 

We have far too few religious leaders providing moral authority, no one to look to as an example of what to do and how to handle difficulties, no Mother Teresa, no MLK, no major church leader who is both charismatic and honorable, and only a small minority of people in overall government positions who stand for righteous behavior at all costs. There are too few for the masses to relate to and who help provide solace and peace. 

What we do have, however, is a group of Supreme Court Judges who lied to get their lifetime appointments.  They LIED.  They told the entire world that they believed in one thing and then proved that they did not by overturning that decision from 50 years ago that was specified in the questions posed to them to gain their appointments.  So, you may look to a minority of the Supreme Court for some who could be considered moral authorities, which is rather like having 6 devils among the archangels instead of 9 archangels.  (Funny that it is generally considered that archangels are a group of nine.) This, of course, is related to the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court with announcements that other civil rights would be in jeopardy, which has come to fruition and has not found an end. 

We are stuck with a majority of judges whom we cannot trust for they will lie to gain whatever they want or whatever a powerful grifter wants.  These untrustworthy and weak individuals are making and will continue to make decisions that will affect the whole of the USA and parts of the world now and for decades to come, but they are liars without backbones and do not make their decisions based on Constitutional Law but instead are based on personal and religious feelings of their own along with the whims of a few sinfully wealthy, power-mad lunatics.  In the meantime, approximately half of our Congress stands beside them and refuses to take necessary Constitutional action against them. Does this begin to resemble the fall of our great nation and the end of the rest of the world having any type of respect for the USA?  Well, it does to me, and it should to you.  Our nation in a form that is familiar to us is at great risk and declining as we go through our daily routines, falling to pieces around us.  I am appalled and unspeakably despondent as I watch my country fall off a cliff.
